This is the second book of the Krista Pompey saga and is the story of a young black girl who is experiencing major changes in her life that she has difficulties coping with. Krista's return to school after the Easter break is filled with grave tensions as her school starts dividing up into two clashing groups. Krista has a faithful set of friends to help her as well as her Grandmother but the conflicts might be too big for all of them. This tumult forces Krista to look deep within and find out what she is capable of.
