CHANA THOMPSON

Chana Thompson was born and grew up in the Bronx, New York. Showing her writing skills early on, she wrote many short stories and other writings. This was an important part of her early years. After studying Criminal Justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, then switching to Political Science and Journalism at Hunter College of the City University of New York, Chana left the country to live abroad in Germany. There she engaged in the performing arts with a variety of music projects as well as teaching English as a foreign language for many years. Transforming her creative energy from writing lyrics to writing books, Krista Pompey-The Becoming, is her first book in a mystical saga.

 

The writing of Krista Pompey came as an inspiration. Sitting down at her laptop, she started writing. To Chana’s astonishment an entire concept unfolded before her and the character, Krista Pompey, was born. Its development into a saga was a natural result as the character came into form and the first book, Krista Pompey-The Becoming, and second book, Krista Pompey–The Test Zone, emerged.

 

Chana currently lives in the United States with her husband and two children. The writing of the third book of the series has already begun where Krista Pompey continues her voyage of self-discovery.
